It’s a given that when you’re in another part of the world, shopping is part of the itinerary. That’s what was in my mind the moment I stepped foot on KL. There are so many shopping destinations you can try.
Even with limited time, my friends and I were able to shop at KL Central Market, and along upscale malls in Bukit Bintang. And if you’re in the mood for a gastronomic adventure, the Food Republic at Bukit Bintang mall should satisfy you, though, of course, there are other options. KL will never run out of popular options whether shopping or food.
Though we passed by Chinatown, we opted to buy souvenir items at the Central Market because it was safer. It’s also fun to haggle prices with the store owners and the items are affordable and of good quality. The street scenes are also priceless.
For premium Malaysian chocolates, we dropped by Beryl’s Chocolate Kingdom twice. And I assure you, you won’t get disappointed to come here even though its a little bit out of the way. Chocolates are practically reasonably priced and you can buy in bundles. Take advantage of the free taste if you can. 😉
